In September, we were lucky enough to attend the Namaste Care International in Cork, Ireland to showcase books from Health Professions Press, an imprint of Brookes Publishing Co.
Ireland in the autumn is beautiful, and the campus of University College Cork did not disappoint.

Over the two days, Lucy Jackson, Marketing Executive in the MNG Social Sciences team, met care professionals, providers, academics and more, who all attended to further the work of Joyce Simard, creator of the Namaste Care Method, and author of The End-of-Life Namaste Care™ Program for People with Dementia.

The speakers all had so much to share as to how they applied the End-of Life-Namaste Care™ Program to dementia patients, but also to other patients on end-of-life care throughout the healthcare system.
Delegates came from around the world, including Hong Kong, Singapore, the United States, the UK, Ireland and many more places. It was great to see how far and wide this program is being implemented, from care homes in the United States, to the NHS in the UK, to care facilities in Singapore, on both a smaller and large scale.
