Valerie Francisco-Menchavez

Valerie Francisco-Menchavez is associate professor in the Department of Sociology and Sexuality Studies at San Francisco State University. She is author of The Labor of Care: Filipina Migrants and Transnational Families in the Digital Age (University of Illinois Press, 2018), which won Honorable Mention for the 2020 Association for Asian American Studies Book Award for Outstanding Achievement in the Social Sciences.
