Susanna Barnes
Susanna Barnes is a socio-cultural anthropologist and associate professor at the University of Saskatchewan. Her research centers on customary governance, land tenure, and intergenerational well-being, with a primary focus on Timor-Leste, where she has conducted extensive fieldwork. She is the co-author of Property and Social Resilience in Times of Conflict and co-editor of Colonial Land Legacies in the Portuguese-Speaking World.
