Samuel Edward Krune Mqhayi

Samuel Edward Krune Mqhayi (1875-1945) is one of the great isiXhosa literary figures. He was a prominent praise poet (imbongi), author, historian and translator. He was also involved in the revision of the isiXhosa Bible translation.
