Maximiliano von Thüngen
Maximiliano von Thüngen holds a PhD in History from the University of Cologne (Germany) and a master’s degree in social Anthropology from the Latin American Faculty of Social Sciences (FLACSO). Currently he works as a researcher at the Ibero-Amerikanisches Institut in Berlin. His academic research explores the meanings and uses of cultural heritage in Latin America. He is the author of Ruinas jesuíticas, paisajes de la memoria (Buenos Aires, 2021), in which he analyzes the restoration of the Jesuit cultural heritage of Paraguay.
