Kenneth Oja
Dr. Kenneth Oja is currently a Nurse Research Scientist at Denver Health and an Assistant Professor at the University of Colorado College of Nursing. He leads nurses in conducting research and implementing research evidence to improve practice and patient outcomes.Dr. Oja has conducted research in multiple inpatient hospital settings including critical care, psychiatry, neonatal intensive care, and women’s health. His research is published in peer-reviewed journals, and he has presented his work at regional, national, and international conferences.Dr. Oja has a BA in sociology, a BSN, an MS in nursing education, and a Ph.D. in nursing and healthcare innovation. Throughout his career, he has taught nursing students at various levels, ranging from undergraduate to doctoral programs, primarily in the subject of evidence-based practice. '
