Chris Cooper
Dr. Christine M. Cooper, ARNP, NNP, DNP, MBA graduated from the Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) Program at the University of Washington in 2012, and completed her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2013, also from the University of Washington. She also holds a master's in business administration (MBA) from the University of New Mexico. Chris is the Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) Nurse Consultant and Co-Editor for the American Academy of Pediatrics and serves on the NRP Steering Committee as well as the NRP Instructor Development Working Group. She is an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, who works with Seattle Children’s Hospital’s Regional Neonatology Program. She has worked in Neonatal Intensive Care Units throughout the Western U.S. for over 30 years in various roles. Chris believes strongly in the power of the Neonatal Resuscitation Program to improve lives and outcomes for babies. Her experience at the bedside and in classrooms over the years working with the Neonatal Resuscitation Program has given her perspective on the importance of the continued evolution of the NRP Program through advances in science and medicine.
