Abhimanyu Kumar Jha is a Molecular Biologist and has extensive Research experience in Molecular Biology, Animal Biotechnology and Cancer Biology. He is currently working as Professor (Department of Biotechnology) and Dean (School of Biosciences and Technology), Galgotias University, Greater Noida. Before that, he worked as Head of the Department of Biotechnology in Sharda University, Greater Noida. Previously he worked as Dean, Faculty of Life Sciences and Head in Department of Biotechnology, Institute of Applied Medicines and Research, Ghaziabad (U.P). He also worked as Head in Department of Biotechnology, IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad (U.P), India. He did his Ph.D. from Department of Biotechnology, Punjab University, Chandigarh, India. He has published more than 140 papers in national and international journals of repute and also contributed 48 chapters in books published by Elsevier, Springer and Apple Academic Press. He has published more than 14 books for various subjects and competitive exams which are famous in their domains. He has 14 published patents to his credits. He was awarded an honorary degree of Doctor of Science (D.Sc Honorary) with specialization in Biological Science by The American University, USA. He also received ESDA Senior Scientist Award at 5th World Environment Summit and the Wegrow India Research Excellence Award at International Innovation Research Conclave. His current area of research is on the epidemiology and epigenetics of Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma, Cervical cancer, Liver Cancer and Neurodegenerative disorders.
He has delivered many keynote lectures, invited talks and chaired the scientific session in several international as well as national conferences. His Research group is also working on Alzheimer’s disease and Rheumatoid Arthritis as well as the correlation of contaminants present in groundwater with epigenetic changes in cancer. He also worked on the Natural Compounds-Mediated Reversal of promoter methylation of tumor suppressor genes leading to their reactivation in Cervical Cancer and Acute Lymphoid Leukemia Cell Lines.
Shatabdi Paul is currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Biotechnology at Galgotias University, India. She earned her Ph.D. in Biotechnology from the Center of Innovative and Applied Bioprocessing (CIAB), Regional Centre for Biotechnology, Government of India, where she focused on lignin-derived nanomaterials for antimicrobial and anticancer photodynamic therapy. With over 15 peer-reviewed publications in reputed international journals and several book chapters published by Springer and ACS, she has made significant contributions to the field of sustainable functional nanomaterials. Dr. Paul also has postdoctoral research experience as a CSIR Research Associate at NIPER, Mohali, and has previously worked at Banaras Hindu University on breast cancer diagnostics using spectroscopic methods. Her research interests include nanoformulations, biopolymer-based materials, and light-responsive therapeutic platforms for biomedical applications.
Runjhun Mathur is currently working towards her PhD at Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University, Lucknow. She has published more than 30 papers in national and international journals of repute. She has also contributed 8 chapters in books published by Springer and few chapters in Biology Foundation for Class X, published by Universities Press. She has also contributed few chapters to the book Cell Biology- The Fundamentals. She is one of the Co-author for the book Biology for NEET (both Volume I and II ) published by Universities Press. She worked as a lecturer at Mahatma Jyoti Rao Phoole Women’s College in Jaipur for three years. She obtained her MSc in Biotechnology from the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur.
Aishwarya holds a Master's degree in Biotechnology from Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida, She is presently employed as a scientific writer. She has been recognized with an Excellence Award in English Speaking Skills by the American Institute of English Speaking. Her linguistic capabilities are extensive, as she is fluent in French, German, English, and Hindi. She has furthered her proficiency in French by obtaining a Certificate of Proficiency from Chaudhary Charan Singh University, Meerut. With over two years of experience in teaching, Ms. Aishwarya is also committed to social service. During her undergraduate years, she actively participated in the National Service Scheme (NSS), an initiative supported by the Government of India, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports. Presently, she is also working as a Rakshin, a role focused on preventing child sexual abuse. Furthermore, she has earned a six-year Diploma in Kathak from Prayag Sangeet Samiti, Allahabad.
