Rosalva Resendiz earned her Ph.D. in sociology from Texas Woman's University. She is an associate professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Dr. Resendiz's work engages critical Chicana feminism with a focus on intersectionality and identity politics, considering colonialism, decolonialism, and postcolonialism.
Lucas Espinoza earned his Ph.D. in sociology from Texas Woman's University. He is an assistant professor in the Department of Criminal Justice at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. His professional expertise includes culture and identity, Latin@ disparities, social justice rights and issues, gender and women's studies, Mexican-American studies, and social science methodology/statistics.
