She is the associate editor of the Journal of Southeast Asian American Education and Advancement, and a past president of the National Association for the Education and Advancement of Cambodian, Laotian, and Vietnamese Americans.

She is the founding associate editor of the Journal of Southeast Asian American Education and Advancement, and a past president of the National Association for the Education and Advancement of Cambodian, Laotian, and Vietnamese Americans.
