A practicing architect who also serves as a special lecturer in art at Oakland University, Donna Voronovich earned her master's degree in architecture at the University of Michigan. Professor Voronovich teaches courses in the history of western architecture, western traditions in art, and history and theory of graphic design. Since 2007, she has led study abroad programs in Europe focusing on art and architecture. Her own architectural design work has been featured in Architectural Record and Traditional Home, among others. She has developed and taught numerous workshops and special courses for elementary and high school students in art, architecture, and the environment. In her work as a practitioner and educator, Professor Voronovich promotes the power of art and architecture to nurture, inspire, and elevate the human spirit.
