Shahid Javed Burki is a visiting senior research fellow at the Institute of South Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore. He is the former finance minister for Pakistan and the author of several books including, Altered Reality: Pakistan’s Economy under Musharraf and Pakistan: Fifty Years of Nationhood. He lives in Washington, DC, USA.
Iftekhar Ahmed Chowdhury is a principal research fellow at the Institute of South Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore. He is a former foreign advisor of Bangladesh and in 2004 he was named one of the world’s leading diplomats by the New York City Council for his global contribution to advancing welfare, alleviating poverty, and combating terrorism.
Riaz Hassan is the emeritus professor of sociology at Flinders University, Australia and a visiting research professor at the Institute of South Asian Studies at the National University of Singapore.
